Kimberly M. Kitchen
Practice Areas
Attorney Kitchen's practice focuses on estate planning. When she joined the Juniata College development team in 1998, she brought ten years of paralegal work experience in estate and tax planning from Reed Smith in Pittsburgh. Through her position as Director of Planned Giving for Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA she has acquired unique skills relating to charitable giving including the use of strategies to fully utilize donor objectives and tax laws.
Professional Honors and Memberships
Attorney Kitchen is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the National Committee on Planned Giving and the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council.
Education
Attorney Kitchen graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law/Political Science. She graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh summa cum laude.
Community Involvement
Attorney Kitchen regularly researches and reports on federal and state regulations relating to various gifting vehicles and tax law changes impacting deferred gifts. Attorney Kitchen also plans, organizes and delivers estate planning seminars nationwide. She is a member of the Huntingdon County Young Professionals Association and a Huntingdon County PRIDE board member.
