          The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has held what a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy case could be reopened two years after its closing in order to allow the Debtors to avoid a judicial lien on their real estate so that they could sell the property without having to pay the lien.

          The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio has held that a qualified domestic relations order (QRDRO) which gave the Debtor an interest in her former husband’s pension plan was not property of her Chapter 7 Estate.

          The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska has held that a Chapter 7 Debtor cannot disclaim an inheritance received within the 180 day post-petition period. That means that the inheritance can become property of the Chapter 7 Estate.
